Nothing is perfect, and email is no exception. Spam is an ongoing problem in the online world. According to recent research, over 50% of consumers believe there is somewhat more or a lot more of this problem entering their inboxes.
There are anti-spam laws in Canada. The Canadian Government introduced Bill C-28 the “Fighting Internet and Wireless Spam Act” (FISA).
What are the big concerns? Here are a few:
Fact, spam is an unwanted problem, however, inevitable. Everyone is involved in trying to limit or eliminate it, but it’s best if realized that it’s a fact of life in the online world. As with everything good, there comes a little bad.
Compared to your real (Canada Post) mailbox, telemarketing, and door-to-door sales, I’d suggest that this “online-spam” is a touch less intrusive. After all, as we know, one click and it’s gone.
