Blogs > Cash – There’s an App for That

A big SHOUT OUT to Starbucks Canada (although it may be the Starbucks US that deserves the credit for the Starbucks App).
Personally I’ve been a Tim Horton’s coffee drinker for years and not overly fond of the Starbucks BOLD, however, I’ve always been a fan of the Starbucks “Caffe Americano”. I’ve been noted to chirp “I need a Grande Americano” randomly at the office.
So, back to the SHOUT OUT. The Starbucks App on the iPhone is an outstanding engagement tool. Outstanding is right on the mark, the ease of download, installation, operation and use at Starbucks in-store is not something we see very often. The app has it all, password protection; ease of use, in store acceptability, reloading the card automatically (on your request) is easy. All this makes the app a must-have for any coffee drinker or any one in website or app development.
The tool is so engaging; I’ve changed my daily (sometimes twice daily) coffee run from Tim Horton’s to Starbucks. It’s been a week now and I’m officially converted to Starbucks, yes it was that easy. Easy sale eh? Or is it that the coffee is that much better? We’ll really never know, but the app had driven this change and the ease of use sealed the deal.
This app has it all, drinks, favourites, coffee’s, food, drinks, store locator and a rewards program all built into a simple easy to use, easy to understand and operate app.
I recommend you get your Starbucks iPhone app at the app store in iTunes or the Android version at the Google Play Store. It’s a must have for any coffee drinker or app aficionado.
You can watch for me at Starbucks on Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, using the hash tag (#) #starbicks (and no this is not a paid ad, but I’d welcome a discussion with the folks at Starbucks so feel free to pass this link on to https://twitter.com/starbuckscanada).
Oh, did I mention, all this without using my wallet … as titled, cash, there’s an app for that.
