Creating, launching, and running a consumer promotion can be well… stressful to say the least; trust us when we say we understand! It’s easy to feel exhausted afterwards and be very much ready to lay low once it’s gone off and you’ve accomplished what you set out to do!
However, just because you’ve done the work of categorizing your customers in order to tailor a promotion to certain categories’ desires, the work doesn’t end there!
Once you’ve completed the promotion and you’re able to further understand the purchasing patterns of your customer, you can now break them down even further into subcategories getting as specific as you possibly can! That’s when you’ll really see who’s really keeping your business … well, in business.
It sounds like a lot of work and it is, but your customers are worth it; you love them and they’re very special ….(sorry we couldn’t help ourselves).
Jokes aside, this extra step is important in furthering your knowledge of your people in order to better market to them! When you do this, you start to really pay attention, because things change, PEOPLE CHANGE! Whether it’s because of the world around us, personal issues, or something your brand has or hasn’t done, something’s going to change and this type of vigilance is going to keep you on top of all of it (most of it).
