This business, the Internet business, is full of surprises. The width, depth and breadth of information is beyond belief. Recently when writing a blog I was caught looking for a word, my son happened to be around and his reply, “Why don’t you try dictionary.com?”
Ahhh … I’d never heard of it, so after finding the appropriate word and completing my blog it seemed natural to write about this.
When you search for dictionary.com, you’ll find that it’s part of a website called reference.com which has Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com, Flashcards, Quotes and Translator. It’s an amazing reference tool, make sure you check it out, spend a little time, it’s far easier to use than conventional tools. Fact is that I’ve used it in an ongoing fashion since becoming aware of its existence.
Full of surprises, the Internet is an amazing resource, so take some to time get to know the basics. Wikipedia is an amazing resource as well as I’ve written before.
As your digital agency we recommend reference.com, as one of the easy to use, educational and fun surprises available on the Internet.
