It appears that the online revolution is starting to impact one of the oldest marketing programs, the Tradeshow. According to the Global Association of Exhibition Industry, 70% of show organizers expect more than a 10% drop in sales. Appears the social revolution is impacting almost every conventional marketing program.
“It’s a cost-effective way to build brand awareness or establish yourself as a small business without having to put your schedule on hold, hop a cross-country flight or create and ship materials”, says Scott Steinberg of Digital Trends.
Online events have everything you need, speeches, demos, and discussion panels, even networking opportunities. All in all except for the actual physical presence these online tradeshows make sense.
Something to think about, more change (yup, that change word again). Now, what happens in Vegas, really stays in Vegas.
